I began my career as a teacher. There was always something that I loved about watching students learn and truly begin to believe in their own abilities. Although education remains a passion for me, my next step was not education of others, but furthering my own education. It was at this point that I moved to Texas and began my degree in Sport Management. As part of the program, I was required to complete an internship– my previous educational experience in conjunction with my education in Sport Management landed me a Youth Development internship with USA Rugby. I moved to Colorado and within a few weeks that internship turned into a full time position as the Match Official Administrator. Shortly there after the position evolved into a manager role. Two years later, I am the department head for the USA Rugby Referee Department.
