Technology Classrooms
Information Technology Office
The Information Technology Office’s technology classrooms facilitate collaboration and allow faculty to use the latest technologies in their instruction. Rooms may be reserved for a single class, semester-long courses or other instructional purposes. All rooms have a projection system, doc cam, wireless network, and a ring of dongles to assist with connecting devices. Note: These rooms are not available for student walk-in use.

Reservation Policies
Technology classrooms are available for use by College of Education faculty, staff, and enrolled students. College of Education courses and instructional activities will receive top scheduling priority.
The rooms are also available for non-instructional purposes, such as UT-sponsored conferences, seminars, workshops and externally funded research and projects. These types of reservations are approved at the discretion of ITO staff.
Technology Classrooms may be reserved with a start time that occurs at any time during ITOs working hours. Rooms are available for single day, repeating weekly, and also semester-long reservations.
SZB 323 Distance Learning Classroom
This third-floor technology classroom boasts a built-in video-conferencing system featuring microphones strategically placed throughout the room, and multiple camera angles to best suit each individual need.
SZB 324 Technology Classroom
The spacious third-floor technology classroom supports computer-related classes as well as those requiring large screen projection. This classroom has tiered seating and power outlets at each table.
SZB 439E Technology Classroom
This classroom is designed to facilitate the integration of new technologies into instruction. The room features widescreen projection, two flat panel monitors for breakout sessions, dry-erase boards, and an interactive whiteboard. The tables can be moved into numerous configurations.
SZB 518C Technology Classroom
This room is ideal for collaborative class activities. The room features widescreen projection, dry-erase boards, and a document camera. The tables can be moved into numerous configurations.
