All required materials must be received in both the Department of Educational Psychology office and Graduate Admissions by the application deadline for a file to be considered complete and eligible for review. Applicants should realize that it takes a considerable amount of time for the Department and Graduate Admissions to receive and process all materials needed to complete an application. It is strongly advised that you begin the application process well in advance of the deadline.

Doctoral students in the Department of Educational Psychology at The University of Texas at Austin are permitted to begin their studies in the fall semester only. Thus, applications for admission to doctoral study are accepted only for the fall semester and only for full-time enrollment (a minimum of nine graduate hours per semester). For the master's specializations, enrollment may begin with the fall or summer semesters, and part-time status is permitted (exception: the School Psychology Master's program requires full-time enrollment).
