UT Austin College of Education Ranks 8th Among the Nation’s Public Colleges of Education in U.S. News & World Report

The College of Education at The University of Texas at Austin maintains its longstanding ranking among the nation’s top 10 public colleges of education, according to the latest U.S. News and World Report rankings. The college was ranked 16th overall.

Eight departments, programs, and specialty areas rank in the top 10 among public colleges and universities, with five ranked in the top 10 overall.

“These rankings underscore the foundation of excellence that positions us to serve the people of Texas, the nation, and beyond through transformative research, teaching, and leadership in the field,” says Dean Charles R. Martinez, Jr. “As one of the top colleges of education in the country, we have a unique responsibility to leverage our excellence to address persistent challenges in education and health, to combat sources of inequity, and to advance the promise of education to improve lives.”
