Erin is a third year Ph.D. student in the Physical Culture and Sports Studies program at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research interests surround racial and gender attitudes in sports history and early athletic training. Erin is currently a research associate for the Voice in Sport Foundation, a member of The Male and Female Athlete Triad Coalition group, The North American Society for Sport History, and the American College of Sports Medicine, and she is the student rep for the ACSM Office of Museum, History and Archives (OMHA) committee.
