Kaila Campos
Kaila M. Campos is a doctoral student, her interest is guided by first-generation college Latinas and their intersectionalities evolvement based on student affairs planning and identity development from tenth grade to freshman year. She comes with experience in working in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion as she has facilitated workshops, certifications, and transformational leadership development. She holds a Graduate Research Assistant to Dr. Stella Flores. Her previous research is on mental health in higher education and intersectionality within first generation identities.
She completed both her bachelors degree at the University of Texas at San Antonio in Communication and Multidisciplinary Studies (Public Administration, Psychology, Interdisciplinary Studies). She obtained her masters at the University of the Incarnate Word in Higher Education in Student Services.
