I grew up in Harlingen, Texas (Rio Grande Valley) where I attended St. Alban’s Episcopal Church & Day School for Pre-K through 6th grade. I then attended Coakley Middle School for 7th-8th grade before graduating from Harlingen High School South in 2010. For college, I attended The University of Texas at Austin and received my Bachelors of Science in Applied Learning and Development with an Early Childhood to Sixth Grade ESL Generalist Certification. Soon after graduation, I attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX and received a Masters in Education in School Counseling. After working in Austin Independent School District for 6 years as an elementary general education teacher, I am returning to The University of Texas at Austin to pursue a Masters degree in Educational Leadership and Policy.
