Jocelyn Qiulin He
Jocelyn He (she/her) is a doctoral student in Educational Leadership & Policy and a Graduate Research Assistant at the Texas Education Research Center. She studies how organizations structure work to maintain functional stability under resource constraints, with empirical work in the field of education.
My research primarily examines teachers work structuring and job compensation structures, and their implications for staff turnover and staffing strategies. My prior experience in business and financial markets developed my structural lens on organizations, while my doctoral training with educational administrative data has deepened my understanding of how institutional arrangements operate through organizational designs. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce, with majors in Accounting and Finance, from The University of Melbourne, and an M.A. in Economics and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
