Reyna Flores (she/her/ella) is a doctoral candidate in the Program in Higher Education Leadership and Policy in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy at The University of Texas at Austin. She is a Graduate Research Assistant with CCCSE and also serves as the Graduate Coordinator in the Student Success Center at St. Edward's University. Reyna is a first-generation student, Mexican American, and daughter of farmworkers who grew up in the Rio Grande Valley, the southern border region of Texas. Through her participation in the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP), Reyna gained interest in educational inequities that led her to pursue a career in higher education.

Her vast experience ranges throughout the educational pipeline. Reyna worked with college access programs in K-12 schools in Central Texas for five years. She has experience serving students in TRIO programs, including Upward Bound and Talent Search. Reyna then led diversity initiatives in recruitment and outreach for the Cockrell School of Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. After recruiting students into the top engineering program in Texas, Reyna supported students in the University Leadership Network, a nationally recognized incentive-based scholarship program. She most recently worked with student organizations as a Senior Program Coordinator in the College of Natural Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin.
