Ying is a doctoral student in the Learning Technologies program at The University of Texas at Austin. Before her study at UT, she had taught Mandarin Chinese in the United States and Intensive Chinese language programs in China. Since 2018, Ying has been involved in a research project - Alien Rescue(AR) in the Learning Technologies program. Outside of the program, She is working as a teaching assistant in the Human Development and Family Science Department. Her research interests include game-based learning, learning analytics, second language acquisition, and integration of technology into language learning.
