James Wiser is the Dean of Library Services & Educational Technology at Abilene Christian University (ACU) in Abilene, Texas. A member of the Executive EdD in Higher Education Leadership 2021 cohort, his research interests are academic libraries, scholarly communication, bibliometrics, qualitative methods, and higher education management. Prior to his current position at ACU, he held librarian or library-related positions at the Community College League of California, SAGE Publishing, SCELC, Pepperdine University, and General Motors.
