Pre-K to fifth grade students celebrated Space Day on March 24 with hands-on, STEM activities as the school welcomed visitors from NASA, the Texas Space Commission and Lockheed Martin.

The recognition comes after UTHSD identified initiatives and strategies that ensure the flexibility and continuity military families need.

Following nearly 30 years of service to Texas public schools, University of Texas at Austin High School Special Purpose District superintendent, Dr. Beth Cooper, is retiring from her role to become an Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership at Ball State University.
