Janet Solis Rodriguez is a doctoral candidate in Educational Leadership and Policy. Her dissertation investigates how educator preparation programs influence short- and long-term student outcomes. Her research utilizes large-scale, longitudinal data from the Texas Education Research Center (ERC at UT Austin) and employs hierarchical linear growth modeling and multilevel logistic regression techniques.

Solis Rodriguez is a Quantitative Data Analyst for the Texas ERC (PI: Dr. Pedro Reyes) and a Graduate Research Assistant for the Teacher Turnover Project in Texas (PIs: Dr. Jennifer J. Holme & Dr. Huriya Jabbar). Before her doctoral studies, she was a liaison and analyst for the Texas Education Agency, a math curriculum specialist, a teacher mentor, and an 8th-grade math and Algebra I teacher at Harlingen C.I.S.D.

Solis Rodriguez holds a Master's in Quantitative Methods, a Master's in Educational Policy, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater Education from The University of Texas at Austin.
