Educational Leadership and Policy Alumna Receives 2019 CAHEP Barbara Townsend Lecture Award

The Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE) has recognized the work of Sarah Rodriguez, Ph.D. ‘15, by giving her the 2019 CAHEP Barbara Townsend Lecture Award. Currently an associate professor at Texas A&M University-Commerce, Rodriguez’s research focuses on equity and retention issues for underrepresented students, especially in the area of science identity development among Latinas. 

The Council for the Advancement of Higher Education Programs (CAHEP) seeks to enrich the teaching and learning experiences of students and faculty in ASHE's constituent higher education programs across the globe.
