The College of Education Graduate Student Equity Fellowship supports emerging equity researchers and leaders whose personal cultural backgrounds, professional experiences and future goals will help to transform education and health as well as promote social justice.
“The Equity Fellows reflect the COE’s explicit commitment to serving the children and families of the state of Texas by supporting young scholars that are dedicated to examining the educational experiences and deeper issues related to public health in our communities,” said Cinthia Salinas, professor and associate dean pro tem for educator workforce development.
The 2023-24 recipients represent the diversity of the college across our departments:
