The Houston Astros Caravan – featuring team manager Joe Espada and players Zach Dezenzo and AJ Blubaugh – made a stop at the H.J. Lutcher Stark Center for Physical Culture and Sports in January. They participated in a panel discussion moderated by Space City Home Network (SCHN) broadcaster Todd Kalas for a casual Q&A with students and faculty from Kinesiology and Health Education.

Members of the Astros Shooting Stars were also in attendance, along with the 2017 and 2022 World Series Trophies, providing a fitting backdrop for diehard Astros fans.

Thank you to College of Education alumnus Richard Tapia (B.S. ’03), director of brand engagement for the Houston Astros, for bringing the Caravan to KHE!
