The Information Technology Office (ITO) supports College of Education students, faculty and staff by providing classroom technology support, equipment checkout and classroom technology delivery.
Reservations
College of Education students, faculty and staff can reserve
- technology classrooms
- conference rooms (EID required to view)
- huddle rooms (EID required to view)
- equipment for checkout/return
- equipment for classroom delivery

Services Overview
To request any of the following services, please email the Service Desk.
Equipment Checkout and Delivery for Classrooms
Checkout of laptops, projectors and other digital media equipment is available to College of Education students, faculty or staff. The loan period varies with the type of equipment borrowed and the demand for it. These services are offered at no charge, however, there could be a loss of privileges if equipment is turned in late.
Reservation requests should be submitted at least 48 hours before a resource is needed. Delivery of equipment to rooms in SZB can also be requested during ITO Service Desk hours. Clients should come to the ITO Service Desk in SZB 2.110 and present a current UT ID to pick up equipment.

Event Reservations (EID required to view)
- 6-ft foldable tables
- 8×10″ standing signage
- Up to 10 adjustable pedestal sign holders
- Up to eight (8) foldable chairs
- Up to four (4) a-frame sandwich boards, fits poster size 24″ x 36″
- Flat-bed cart
- Vacuum cleaner
Computer/Technical Support
Desktop Support Specialists in the ITO provide computer and other technical support to COE faculty and staff. Submit a help request by emailing help@education.utexas.edu or call 512-471-4357.
Services NOT Supported by ITO
We are NOT able to
- Support personal devices.
- Perform repairs or part replacements. Contact the Campus Computer Store.
- Fully support any hardware or software not specified by the College of Education laptop requirements. Contact the Office of Instructional Innovation for software recommendations related to teaching.
- Give a 100% guarantee of the proper backup of user data.
- Sell hardware or software. Contact the Campus Computer Store.
