Staying Power Podcast: Toward Institutional Support for Black Womxn

This first episode of “Staying Power Podcast: Toward Institutional Support for Black Womxn” features a conversation with Keffrelyn Brown, professor of Curriculum and Instruction at the College of Education at The University of Texas at Austin. This digital podcast series, hosted by doctoral students M. Yvonne Taylor and Tiffany Hughes, and Dr. Mariama Nagbe, is supported by an Actions that promote Community Transformation (ACT) grant through the UT Austin Provost Office. Its goal is to explore the possibilities of institutionalized support for Black womxn across the UT pipeline of students, staff, faculty, administrators, and alumni. Because of our own experiences as leaders across the UT campus community, we also want to engage the question of what is at stake when Black womxn do not have institutionalized support. This digital series features podcast conversations with Black womxn leaders across UT.
