Texas Education congratulates alumnus Albert Bimper for being named the new executive dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences at the University of North Texas. The College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences is UNT’s largest college and he will oversee more than 22 academic departments and programs. Dr. Bimper received his Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction with a concentration in cultural studies in education from the College of Education in 2012 and studied under Dr. Luis Harrison.
