Ph.D. Alumnus Langston Clark Receives Prestigious Piper Professor Award

Texas Education congratulates alumnus Langston Clark for receiving a 2023 Piper Professor Award for his superior teaching at the college level. Clark received his Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction with a concentration in physical education teacher education from the College of Education, and now serves as an associate professor in The University of Texas at San Antonio College of Education and Human Development where he teaches aspiring physical education instructors and researches the intersection of athletics, race and education. Established by the Minnie Stevens Piper Foundation, the award recognizes professors in the state of Texas for outstanding academic, scientific, and scholarly achievement and for dedication to the teaching profession.
