Center for Community College Student Engagement

The Center for Community College Student Engagement (CCCSE) has received a grant from the ECMC Foundation in support of the Culture of Caring Project, a research effort that will enable CCCSE to enrich the community college field’s understanding of existing equity gaps and identify factors that inhibit and enhance college progress for men of color while also working with community colleges to ensure students are served effectively. Educational Leadership and Policy

Sarah WoulfinAssociate Professor

Dr. Sarah Woulfin has been selected to serve on the steering committee for the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine’s Collaborative on Advancing Science Teaching and Learning. The committee is charged with developing evidence-based policies and practices for implementing and supporting state-level science standards that are based on the Framework for K–12 Science Education developed by the National Academy of Sciences. Dr. Woulfin will serve on the committee until 2027. Learn more
