Jessica Toste, assistant professor in the Department of Special Education, recently began her term as the elected chair of the board of directors for Disability Rights Texas (DRTx).
DRTx is one of 57 prevention and advocacy organizations in the United States dedicated to the ongoing fight for the personal and civil rights of individuals with disabilities. These organizations provide legal support to help clients navigate the legal system to achieve resolution and encourage systems change.
Toste has served on the DRTx board of directors since 2016.
