Recent Department of Special Education graduates Elizabeth Stevens, Ph.D. ‘18, and Christy Austin, Ph.D. ‘20, have been recognized for excellence in research.
Stevens has won the Early Career Research Award from the Society for the Scientific Study of Reading while Austin has received a research award for her work in quantitiative research methods by the Council for Exceptional Children.
