Special Education Doctoral Student Invited to Prestigious Student Scholars Seminar Series

Sarah Gorsky, a Ph.D. student in the Learning Disabilities and Behavioral Disorders program in the Department of Special Education has been invited to join the 15th cohort of the Council for Exceptional Children’s Division for Research Doctoral Student Scholars. She was nominated by Dr. Sarah Powell.

Gorsky was selected as an outstanding scholar through an internationally competitive review process. She will have the opportunity to participate in seminars to gain a better understanding of ways to navigate life as a new member of the scholarly community. She also will have the opportunity to develop relationships with other Division of Research doctoral scholars that will provide the basis for future professional associations.
