College of Education Forms Inaugural Staff Advisory Committee to Help Advise Leadership

Beginning in the 2023-24 academic year, the College of Education will have its first Staff Advisory Committee dedicated to providing input to the college’s leadership team on current or developing college initiatives, policies and projects. As staff representatives, members of the committee will meet with Dean Charles R. Martinez, Jr. throughout the year, sharing ideas, concerns and other feedback on behalf of the staff.

Members of the committee were chosen through a selection process which consisted of a very strong pool of nominated candidates. The college is excited to announce that the 2023-24 members of the College of Education Staff Advisory Committee are:

  • Emilio Delboy, Survey Operations Coordinator, Center for Community College Student Engagement
  • Janet Griffith, Senior Administrative Associate, Office of Student Affairs
  • Andrea Martinez, Associate Academic Advisor, Office of Student Affairs
  • Laura Meitz, Senior Administrative Associate, Department of Kinesiology and Health Education
  • Raphael Morales, Accountant II, Department of Educational Psychology
  • Kim Rodriguez, Project Manager, Meadows Center for Preventing Educational Risk
  • Karla Steffen, Assistant Director of Faculty Affairs, Business Services
  • Chris Yallalee, Systems Administrator I, Information Technology Office
