Assistant Dean for Development
Stacey Oliver joined the College of Education in January 2013 and oversees the planning and implementation of all aspects of the development and external relations operations within the college. Oliver and the development team work to secure philanthropic support for strategic initiatives within the college through major gifts, planned giving, and annual fund support.
Prior to joining the dean’s staff at the College of Education, Oliver was associate director for development in the Cockrell School of Engineering. Her more-than-ten year career in fundraising and development includes serving as associate director of constituent relations at St. Edward’s University as well as stints at KLRU-TV, Children’s Medical Center Foundation of Central Texas, and The Seton Fund.
Before working in fundraising and development, Oliver was a public school educator for nearly ten years teaching in elementary schools in Charlotte, North Carolina and Austin, Texas. She earned an M.A. in Teaching from Queens University Charlotte and a B.A. in French from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi.
