Dr. Beth E. Bukoski is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Assistant Program Coordinator in the Program in Higher Education Leadership in College of Education's Department of Educational Leadership and Policy at The University of Texas at Austin. I am faculty affiliate with the Center for Women's and Gender Studies. I teach utilizing liberatory pedagogies with an explicit focus on diversity, inclusion, social justice issues. My research focuses on issues of social justice, equity, and diversity, particularly the persistence and success of underrepresented students, the experiences of underrepresented faculty, and leadership/administration across the P-20 pipeline. My work centers on issues related to identity intersectionality and performativity - particularly constructs of gender, sexuality, and race; I use qualitative methodologies such as case study, narrative and discourse analysis, and phenomenology and tend to use critical theories and and post-structural analytic techniques to guide my work.
I also currently serve as the faculty-in-residence for the NASPA Men and Masculinities Knowledge Community and am a member of the Council for the Advancement of the Higher Education Programs (ASHE).
